When you look up the word father figure in the dictionary you will find:
man giving help: a man whom other people look up to for advice, inspiration, or protection.
There is nothing in this world like the love and strength of a Father. Just knowing he is there for you, can bring you comfort. Sometime his exterior seams hard, but when you look inside, you will find a love no other person can give to you.
I liked this poem about fathers and wanted to share it:
Fathers are wonderful people
Fathers are wonderful people,
too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises
as often as we should,
For Father struggles daily
to live up to his image
As protector and provider

And perhaps that is the reason
we sometimes get the notion
That fathers are not subject
to the thing we call emotion.
But if you look inside Dad's heart,

You'll find he's sentimental
and soft as he can be.

For the only reason Dad aspires
